My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Amber is an ordinary sixteen-year-old. Or so she thinks. One day when provoked by two guys, Amber suddenly transforms into a demon. When her parents find out, they show no sign of surprise. In fact, they want to kill her and eat her. Soon Amber is on the run with a guy she barely knows and an unusual car. But no matter where Amber goes it seems like danger is always close behind her. It becomes difficult for Amber to know who to trust and who is after her for their own evil plans.
I loved how different this book was. This book takes every story we’ve heard about road trips and twists them. It’s totally terrifying. Amber was a witty character and I loved how unexpected her reactions to everything was. I was so gripped by this book that it was impossible to do anything else. I can’t wait to read more about Amber and her adventures. This girl attracts trouble like a magnet but she’s also pretty good at getting out of it.
