Playground of Randomness started as a fun hobby- a space where I could write, experiment and share whatever was on my mind at the time.
Somewhere along the way, it became more than that. This blog actually played a role in helping me land my first “big girl job”. But these days Playground of Randomness (POR) has taken on a softer meaning.
It’s where I come to slow down, switch off from the pressure of work and reconnect with the things I enjoy- reading and writing and small everyday moments.
Here, you’ll find a mix of:
- cozy hobbies and creative experiments
- bookish content and reflections
- gentle life resets and lessons
- and bits of life as I figure things out
This isn’t a space for perfection or productivity. It’s a space for enjoying things simply because you want to.

Hi, I’m Shanice.
I’m an avid book collector and sometimes reader. I enjoy video games, coffee and taking life slow.
I started Playground of Randomness as a creative outlet when I was in still in high school. Over time, it’s how I discovered my love for Digital Marketing and it even got me my first Marketing job.
Fast forward a few years and this blog is my way of rediscovering all that I loved. No deadlines, no performance metrics- just things that bring me joy.
This blog reflects where I’m at in life: figuring things out, trying new things and learning to do more just because I want to and not because I have to.
If you’re navigating your own version of that- balancing ambition with rest, growth with enjoyment or even just discovering new hobbies you’ll probably feel right at home here.
