The Cupid Chronicles by Courtney Walsh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Serendipity newbie Iris receives a newspaper that should be for her neighbor- uptight Matteo.
But as more and more newspapers show up on her doorstep, Iris realised that something magical is going on.
Matteo has been through a difficult past and isn’t looking to let anyone in. But Iris is welcoming and open despite Matteo’s reserved nature and eventually the two of them start working together to solve the Serendipity’s newpaper mysteries.
This was a really well-written book that didn’t downplay Matteo’s past or his feelings for Iris. It was great to be back in the world of Serendipity and I cannot wait to read the rest of this series. This is a good read for someone looking for a little bit of magic.
