Love on Deck by Kasey Stockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After a disastrous first date, Lauren and Jack can’t stand each other. Lauren thinks Jack is insufferable, and Jack sees her as an uptight workaholic.
When Lauren discovers Jack will be on her sister’s wedding cruise, she vows to stay on her best behaviour. But things take a turn when Jack needs a fake girlfriend—and, in a moment of desperation, chooses Lauren.
Reluctant at first, Lauren agrees when Jack offers a deal that could secure the promotion she’s been working towards.
Soon, Lauren finds herself forgetting exactly why she hated him in the first place. But as their connection deepens, she has to wonder… are these feelings real, or just part of the cruise’s party magic?
This was a really fun book that I enjoyed immensely. There is clear chemistry between Jack and Lauren and I loved seeing them together. I also enjoyed the small town element of Arcadia and cannot wait to read the other books in this series.
