Ward D by Freida McFadden

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This might be my favourite Freida McFadden book ever!!!

Amy Brenner is a med student who is about to spend the night in Ward D, a psychiatric ward. She has been dreading this moment for a while but there is no way around it. She will need to suck it up and make sure no one finds out her secret- the reason why she never wanted to work in Ward D.

As Amy meets the various patients, her unease grows. There is a dangerous locked inpatient, a harmless lady knitting with sharp

needles that look

The book alternates Amy’s shift with a look at her past and the real reason why she is so antsy about being in Ward D.
Besides being a thriller, this book was spooky just because I didn’t know who I could trust.
