I can’t tell how much of my review is genuine and how much stems from my annoyance that what I thought was the plot WAS NOT.
This book was something!
Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan end up spending a night at what Ethan thinks is their dream house. The house once belonged to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a psychiatrist who disappeared a few years ago.
But as the night starts to go on, Tricia starts to believe someone is in the house with them. She stumbles across a room of cassettes from Dr Hale’s patients. With nothing else to do, Tricia starts to listen to the tapes.
Was Dr Hale kidnapped by a patient? Is she dead? Why is Ethan so taken with the creepy house?
There was ALOT going on in this book but the ending was a complete surprise to me. Personally I didn’t really like Tricia and Ethan but the twist at the ending left me speechless!
